01 — Engagement

Change Readiness Review

Typically two to three weeks. Conversations, observation, and a written reflection.

A quiet listening exercise undertaken before any significant organisational change, with the intention of understanding how people across the business are currently experiencing their work. We conduct short confidential conversations across levels and functions, attend a handful of team meetings, and read relevant internal communications. The outcome is a written reflection that surfaces the themes we heard and the questions that may deserve attention before a change effort begins.

02 — Companion

Change Journey Support

Three to six months, with monthly review meetings and written summaries.

A companion engagement for leaders guiding their organisations through a period of meaningful change. Rather than taking the lead, we accompany your existing team, meeting with them on a regular cadence to reflect on progress, surface concerns, and think through communications. Deliverables include a rhythm of monthly review meetings, short written summaries after each, and reachability by email for shorter questions between meetings.

03 — Session

Communication Planning Session

A single two-hour session, preceded by background reading and followed by a written outline.

A compact engagement for leaders preparing an important internal communication about a forthcoming change. Before the session we read the relevant background, including previous communications and any feedback received. The session itself is structured around understanding what you hope the communication will do, for whom, and how it is likely to be received. Followed by a short written outline of points to cover and a suggested sequence.

Most engagements begin with an initial conversation — usually thirty to forty-five minutes — where we listen to the situation you are navigating and share honestly whether we think we can be useful. If it seems like a good fit, we will outline what the engagement might look like and discuss timing. There is no obligation at that stage.
Our primary base is Kuala Lumpur, though we have worked with organisations in other parts of Malaysia when the nature of the engagement suits it. Remote participation is possible for some elements of our work, though we find that in-person presence matters for the listening and observation components, particularly in the early stages.
Our engagements have ranged from organisations of around fifty people to those with several thousand. The work is less shaped by size than by the nature of the change and the readiness of the leadership team to approach it thoughtfully. We are a small practice ourselves, and the work remains personal regardless of the scale.
Yes. Many clients commission the Change Readiness Review with no expectation of further engagement. Its purpose is to surface what is present before change begins, and the written reflection we produce belongs to you and your team. Some organisations use it as the basis for their own internal planning; others find it useful to have us continue alongside them — but that is always a separate conversation.
Confidentiality is central to the kind of listening we do. When we conduct conversations as part of the Change Readiness Review, participants are told that their contributions will inform a collective picture, not be attributed individually. More broadly, we treat everything shared with us as confidential and do not disclose client relationships or the nature of our work without explicit permission.
For project-based engagements such as the Change Readiness Review and Communication Planning Session, we typically invoice in two parts — half at the point of engagement and half on delivery. For the monthly Change Journey Support, we invoice at the start of each month. Our standard payment terms are fourteen days from invoice date. We accept bank transfer in Malaysian Ringgit.
