Engagement 01

Change Readiness Review

Typically two to three weeks. Conversations across levels, observation of team meetings, review of internal communications, and a written reflection.

A quiet listening exercise undertaken before any significant organisational change, with the intention of understanding how people across the business are currently experiencing their work. We conduct short confidential conversations across levels and functions, attend a handful of team meetings, and read relevant internal communications. The outcome is a written reflection that surfaces the themes we heard and the questions that may deserve attention before a change effort begins. Suited to organisations preparing for restructure, integration, or new leadership.

How it unfolds

01.Initial conversation to understand the nature of the change and agree on the scope of the listening exercise

03.Attendance at a small number of team meetings as an observer, and review of relevant internal communications

Companion 02

Change Journey Support

Three to six months, with monthly review meetings and short written summaries. Reachability by email between meetings for shorter questions.

A companion engagement for leaders guiding their organisations through a period of meaningful change. Rather than taking the lead, we accompany your existing team, meeting with them on a regular cadence to reflect on progress, surface concerns, and think through communications. Deliverables include a rhythm of monthly review meetings, short written summaries after each, and reachability by email for shorter questions between meetings. Typically engaged for three to six months.

The monthly rhythm

01.Monthly meeting with the leading team or sponsor to reflect on progress, surface concerns, and discuss communications
02.A short written summary sent within three days of each meeting, capturing what was discussed and any actions or considerations noted
03.Availability by email for shorter questions or brief exchanges between meetings
04.A closing summary at the end of the engagement reflecting on the period as a whole

Session 03

Communication Planning Session

A single two-hour session, preceded by background reading and followed by a short written outline.

A compact engagement for leaders preparing an important internal communication about a forthcoming change. Before the session we read the relevant background, including previous communications and any feedback received. The session itself — a considered two hours — is structured around understanding what you hope the communication will do, for whom, and how it is likely to be received. Followed by a short written outline of points to cover and a suggested sequence of communications.

How it works
